Seattle – Nicole Macri announced today key endorsements in her bid for State Representative in Seattle’s 43rd Legislative District from many progressive groups such as EMILY’S List and the WA State Labor Council, LGBTQ organizations including the Victory Fund and Equal Rights Washington, the Sierra Club, as well as another dozen elected officials, including Mayor of Seattle, Ed Murray.

“It is an honor to receive the support of so many organizations and local elected leaders since our decisive win on primary night. These dedicated public servants and groups work tirelessly to make our community better and stronger,” Macri said. “I am honored to earn their trust and support.”

Seattle Mayor Ed Murray, who previously held the same seat before serving in the State Senate, said, “Nicole has the experience and vision necessary to tackle our state’s biggest challenges. She’ll be the leader the district needs on issues of housing, mental health, and making our community stronger and more equitable.  She has my full support.”
